The Great No.1 Factory at Kingston, Surrey - by Don Williams

This is a short book going through the fascinating history of this particular factory. Starting as a Sopwith plane factory in the First World War, then being taken over by Leyland to be used for reconditioning war damaged Leyland lorries and then for the manufacturing of the early Trojan cars. The factory then returned to plane manufacturing under Hawker Siddeley resulting in the Harrier Jump Jets actually being built in exactly the same spot as the Trojan cars.
